LEAN FMEA (DFMEA+PFMEA) - Failure Modes Effect Analysis
Objective of the training
This interactive training, lasting 3 hours, aims to allow participants to understand the basics of risk analysis using the standard FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) tool. At the end of this training, participants will be able to understand the fundamental principles of this method and to understand the impacts it can have on projects as well as on the life cycle of products.
Training content
- Introduction to FMEA: definition and presentation of the risk analysis tool.
- Understand the role of Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) in product or project development.
- Use of the "Functional Block Diagram" in the development of a DFMEA for a better visualization of functions and interactions.
- 4 Application of DFMEA to define products, processes and Critical to Quality (CTQ).
- Use of DFMEA as the basis for building a PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), facilitating the transition from design analysis to process analysis.
Specific training courses on Capability Studies and Process Control Tools and Operations can be offered separately as required.
